If you really want to explore the vibrant markets, cafes and
culture, Wellington or the capital of New Zealand is the best destination to go! Like me, if you
have little time to spare, Wellington is one of the best places to go!

One aspect I really enjoyed about the North Island are the lookouts and the Mount Victoria Lookout is no exception. Rising 196 metres above Wellington, the lookout provides amazing panoramic views of the capital and the town right across the South Island. This lookout would be perfect for a sunrise or sunset! Unfortunately when I was there the view was a bit gloomy because of the clouds and rainy weather so the photos were a bit darker than usual.

Another attraction I would suggest is to visit the Cuba Night
Markets. Located in Cuba St, performers and stallholders gather around every Friday
and Saturday nights to showcase the fancy crafts, entertainment and the range
of street food Wellington has to offer. You can definitely feel the excitement
and the buzzing atmosphere as you wave through the crowd!
